"Abuse" is such a widely used term nowadays it is difficult to determine what exactly it means. However, my rule of thumb for any concerns at school are: make an appointment for a face-to-face meeting with the principal. Obtain information and details from your child and discuss the matter. Advise the principal that you would like a written response to your concerns.
