Its very easy to accuse, but what you have to do is PROVE that you didn't abuse your child. There are many kinds of abuse, and most of the time one comes with another. She can question you all she wants but unless she actually turns you in nothing will be done legally. If she truly thinks you are abusing him, she already turned you in, and you will be getting a visit in the next month. However in a case like yours, your child is old enough to say "Someone is abusing me" or "Of course my mom/dad is not abusing me".I will also add that currently I am filing abuse and medical neglect charges against my ex and his parents, but the child involved is only 3 and can't really reach out and talk on his own, so there is extensive investigation. They have investigated them 2 times, and they haven't been able to "prove" anything, even though I have pictures of bruises, and doctors records from ongoing illness, and even individuals willing to testify in court that he is being neglected. He will continue to get his visitation until, if they ever do, rule that he is being abused. If she suspects that he is being abused and is just running around telling everyone and not taking action, she really isn't doing much but spreading rumors.
