Goulash

Serves 8

Ingredients:

    500 grams or 1/2 kilo (one pound) minced beef
    3 carrots grated
    1/2 packet frozen beans
    1 onion chopped
    2 packets dry chicken noodle soup mix
    1/2 cabbage chopped
    1 tablespoons of curry powder
    water
    olive oil approximately 1 tablespoon
    In a extra large saucepan, place a little cooking oil or olive oil, approximately 1 Tablespoon.

Directions:
Fry minced onion and carrots in a little oil until browned.
Place in soup mix unmade mix with curry powder and frozen beans. Cover with enough water to just sit over the ingredients.
Simmer for 5 minutes
Place cabbage in saucepan and cover again with enough water to cover ingredients.
Cook for 1 hour.

Prep Time: 15mins        Cooking Time: 1hr

Serving Suggestions:
Serve with rice or egg noodles as side dish or on top of noodles Can be frozen in air tight container.
