
Seasoned Southern Fried Chicken

Serves 6
Ingredients:
one cut up chicken (about 2 lbs.)
1/2 cup canola oil
2 cups self-rising flour
season to taste seasoned with salt

Directions:
Soak chicken in water to moisten, place flour in a bowl or plate. Roll chicken in flour. Place in
hot grease, preferably in an iron skillet. Sprinkle seasoned salt over chicken. Flip when brown on
bottom and repeat other side with seasoned salt and fry until it's a nice golden brown.
Prep Time: Ten to fifteen minutes
Cooking Time: 1/2 hour or until juices run clear
