Materials:

  • 1 gallon milk jug with lid
  • Sharp pointed scissors
  • Pencils
  • Birdseed
  • String, optional

Directions:

  1. Rinse out an empty plastic 1 gallon milk jug with lid.
  2. Dry thoroughly.
  3. Cut a window in the front of the jug, and make two small poke holes for the perches.
  4. Insert pencils for perches and fill the bottom of the jug with bird seed.
  5. You can either rest the bird feeder on a ledge or punch holes near the top, add string, and hang from a branch.
  6. Keep this feeder filled and you will have regular visitors.
