There is a regular garbage and it has a lid to it and then there is an arm that comes down and opens the lid when you need to throw something away. I would invent something called a Germ Killer. Which has a magnifying glass. Then three buttons down the side. One for cleaning the lenses, one to make the lense grow thicker so that you can get a clearer view of germs and one for a mini computer which tells you all about the germs and who it's come from and that kind of stuff. To kill the germs the germ Killer scans them in and it goes down a tube which it then becomes stored. I have learned on the PBS station, here locally, that a scientist has found a way to cause trash in our landfills to decay much much quicker. Some things that would normally take, say for instance a type of material that would take 40 years to decay, may be decayed in only two or three years, and in some cases by months. It works by feeding air and water into the garbage piles. This mimicks the effects of weathering and the effects of bacterial decay. The bacteria are fed by the water and air, and, over time, the decaying process begins to create a lot of heat within the trash, measuring, in some instances, to temperatures as high as 140 degrees Farenhight. This, in-turn, creates a warm, moist enviroment, with plenty of food, thus causing more strands of bacteria to grow, and, further more quickly breakdown the garbage. Now, this process is still under testing, I beleive, but the word needs to be spread across the country. Now, when the garbage is broken down, it turns into a black looking 'stuff'. This is rich in nitrates i beleive, or nitrogen, or something that helps plants grow. They can take this black 'stuff' and use it to plant trees that can be grown to help make more paper without cutting down the rainforests. Plus, you get a cheap, and quickly made planting soil, that plants absoulutely thrive in.
