Serves 8

Ingredients:

  • 500 grams or 1/2 kilo (one pound) minced beef
  • 3 carrots grated
  • 1/2 packet frozen beans
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 2 packets dry chicken noodle soup mix
  • 1/2 cabbage chopped
  • 1 tablespoons of curry powder
  • water
  • olive oil approximately 1 tablespoon
  • In a extra large saucepan, place a little cooking oil or olive oil, approximately 1 Tablespoon.

Directions:

Fry minced onion and carrots in a little oil until browned. Place in soup mix unmade mix with curry powder and frozen beans. Cover with enough water to just sit over the ingredients. Simmer for 5 minutes Place cabbage in saucepan and cover again with enough water to cover ingredients. Cook for 1 hour.

Prep Time: 15mins        Cooking Time: 1hr

Serving Suggestions:

Serve with rice or egg noodles as side dish or on top of noodles Can be frozen in air tight container.
