Directions:

Cut meat into bite-sized pieces and brown in skillet, using a small amount of Worchestershire Sauce. While meat is cooking, cut your choice of veggies into bite-size pieces. It is usually a good idea to microwave the potatoes and carrots after you cut them up. In a 9-inch pie plate put down the bottom layer of dough (I usually use the Pillsbury ready-to-use pie crust, you can find them in the biscuit section of the grocery store). Do not pre-cook the pie crust. Layer the veggies and meat in the pie plate. Pour your choice of gravy on the top, then cover the whole thing with the top pie crust. Remember to use a fork on the edges to crimp them together. Cut four 1-inch slits in the top crust and put on center rack in the oven. Cook at 350° F for about 1 hour or until the crust is a golden brown.

Prep time: 45 minutes        Cooking time: 1 hour

Serving suggestion:

This meal needs no side dishes because everything you need is already in the pie. Perfect for the family where both the parents work. This is easy enough for a teen-ager to make for Mom and Dad.
