Serves 10-12

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups flour
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp. finely chopped parsley
  • 1/2 onion, finely chopped
  • 3 shallots, chopped
  • 1/4 stick of butter
  • 1 cup milk
  • Extra milk for glazing

Directions:

Combine flour, seasoning, parsley, onion and shallots in a bowl. Rub in the butter until the mixture resembles fine breadcrumbs. Then add sufficient milk to make a soft but manageable dough. Knead on a lightly floured board and shape into a round, approximately 1 inch thick.

Cut into rounds and place on a greased baking sheet, glaze with a little milk and bake at 400° F for 12-15 minutes.
