Ingredients:
1/4 cup butter
1 chopped onion, red
4 chopped onions, green
3 chopped celery ribs
1/2 cup chopped parsley
3 cups cornbread, cubed or crumbled
3 cups bread crumbs
2 eggs, beaten
1 pint oysters, chopped (reserve liquid)
salt and pepper

Directions: Preheat
oven to 350 degrees F. Butter 4 quart casserole dish. Saute onions, celery and
oysters in 2 Tablespoons butter.Combine onion and oyster mixture with breads,
parsley, eggs and 1/2 cup oyster liquid. Toss and add salt and pepper to taste. Put
dressing in casserole dish and add butter. Bake 45 minutes until top is crusty.
Prep Time: 20 minutes
Cooking Time: 45 minutes
Serving Suggestions:
Serve with Turkey and the trimmings.
